Yeh, but what I like about freestyle fixed videos by comparison is that the bicycles actually have gearing that can actually get you around too.
Artistic Cycling is beautiful nonetheless though.

This makes my ballet arms while riding hands-free totally unimpressive. (But it's still fun.)
Yeah, the mugging for the audience & the camera is kind of annoying. But it's in keeping with the kind of physical comedy you see with Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, street performers, &c. And he's French.
I think it makes his feats even more impressive — he's so good, he can stop & look at the audience. Like it's not even hard for him.
