Paint on Reseda Blvd.

This coming September On Reseda Blvd. Between San Fernando Mission Blvd. And Devonshire Los Angele’s Street maintenance will be re-paving the street. This is the perfect time to put in bike lanes. Lets make this happen by lobbying the city officials to do this. This stretch of road is in Council District #12 (Greig Smith is the council person)
Lets call his office and request that they put bike lanes and if that is not possible ask them to paint sharrows on the street.

If you know of any other city officials we should lobby in regards to this please post up here also.
Constituents of the district will usually get better attention but if they ask if you live in the district, you can tell them no, but you ride that street.

Donny WH.....that sounds like a great idea. I would be will to do that. Can you make up a flyer to hand to them with information on how to contact the city council office. Also we should put down the local neighborhood council info, so they can be come involve with the NC to get them to push through a purposal from the neighborhood council.
I called council member Smith's office and was referred to Hahann Lee's voicemail.
I left her a message. If she doesn't call back by Wednesday afternoon I will give her a call back.
