Good tube, bad tube?

I got a new tube couple weeks ago, paid $4.
And It got flat yesterday on middle of street.
I didn't see anything stuck in my tire thought.
Are there good tube and bad tube?

Check the rim strip, check for pinch flats, check your tire from the inside with your thumbnail.

There was a bad batch of tubes a few months back that may still be working their way through the system.

do you mean to say you've got a slow leak? it could be a defective tube (check the valve/stem). those type of things do happen from time to time.
