Commute to work

This was inspired by all the great alternative route suggestions in the "Commute to SMC" thread. I'm looking to fine tune my ride to work. I live in Westwood and I work around Rosecrans & Aviation. I work nights, so my ride home is dark (I have lights, of course) but I'd like to avoid anything too sketchy.

Any thoughts?

 hmm this is a very tricky route, lots of turns and it's impossible to avoid hills. what's your current route?

 how about westwood blvd, curve around on national pl. to overland, right on overland, right on jefferson, stay straight on sepulveda, left on 74th, right at airport, left at century, right at aviation?

 Thanks for the suggestion.

Right now I'm taking Westwood, right on Exposition, Left on Sawtelle, Right on Venice, catch the bike path through the Marina, up to Pershing, left on Imperial, right on Douglas.

I avoid that hill on Sepulveda that you mentioned, because frankly, it sucks :)
