Bike theft in SF?

How bad is bike theft in San Francisco and should I be worried about taking my Bianchi Via Nirone??? Just curious.

really tho, would you steal this bike if you saw it locked up? Im nervous.

You should always be nervous. No city in the world lacks bicycle thieves. Just lock it properly and bring it inside at night if possible.

yeah i just get nervous because it has two quick releases. I can chain those up, but what about my pedals or my bike seat/post? I know San Marcos seats get stolen a lot.

It really does depend on the area you lock it in, and the time of day/night.
But either way, I think it would be fine in SF, if you inspect the cyclists there they all ride Bianchi's anyways! Haha

lock everything.. or dont take the items you want to keep... replace them with cheap stuff....
but i know its hard to look less cool.
buy a beater bike.
