Franklin Canyon Question

So tonight I was going to take Franklin Canyon home but its been getting darker earlier in the last few weeks. The signs say closed from Sunset to Sundown. Does anyone know how much that's enforced? I'd hate to get trapped in there.

 they close the main gate. but you can walk your bike around it. what time do you plan on going over? i go home that way too.

 as far as enforcement, they're automatic gates, that open on command to residents inside franklin canyon. i think there are like 2 houses in there.

 I leave work (Lacienega and wilshire) at 5:45. So id guess id get to the gate at about 6ish. So you can walk around it. I've never payed attention to it before, normally its bright out and I just ride though.

 ahh you get there before i. i get off work at wilshire and westwood at 6. yeah the gate is to block the main road from the cars. you can get by the little dirt side.

 Well your really fast, and I am just about average, slower with hills, so be on the watch out for a guy on a black bike wearing an annoyingly ultrabright jersey.
