 How about we attempt a ride to the fire lines and find a fire road.
This way we could attempt a ride through an actual fire.
Or get legally close enough to take some bad ass pictures.

Hell, I could see the one burning in Lake Arrowhead from my backyard right now!!!

 So I'm reading that if you're in the path of one of the smoke plumes you're advised not exert yourself. WTF - how am I gonna train? Does that mean no unnecessary riding?
