wtf first someone steal the wine and cheese ride,now crank mob.Why cant people be more original, if you sit quietly and think you might come up with a new name..more like cronk noob lol im just sayin.

Actually, they had originally posted it as CRANK MOB, not to be confused with C.R.A.N.K. MOB, until everyone that knows anything about anything said something. They then went ahead and changed it to Cronk Mob and now to its' more permanent Cronk Moob.

I mean I really dont care as long as we all have fun,I just like the originality of the names because when people mention a ride.I know which one they mean.

Yo, whine and cheese rides are an idea several bike industry people I've met over the past year have told me about. They work well in Portland and Toronto (I have been told) at local bike. I made a ride and a post on my site, and as I was about to create a forum thread for the topic - boom - Wine 'N' Cheez was up there near the top of the forum topic list.
You should still do your ride idea. It's not like there is a patent on drinking wine, eating cheese. and riding a bike! If so, I am suing France.

The momsey is different. The ride leaders of the mosey were supporters of the momsey taking over when the mosey died. a majority of the mosey riders were mom ridaz. The name actually came about at an event in 2009 called 328. Everyone would split onto different rides and meet again at another spot. The mosey and mom ride were supposed to go separate routes, but anyone who would go on either agreed that they should all be together, thus momsey was born. It was an epic moment when the momsey chant filled the air as a rally cry for unity. your welcome for the history lesson.

not hating... but again... isn't the issue of the OP -- originality?
I dont care... let everyone do what they want... but I think from the OP, momsey would be subjected to the same criticism.... but i'm not the one complaining.
