New Bike Lanes

I was biking to the gym today to play some basketball taking my usual route: Lankershim north to Tuxford (Right where Roscoe ends) and low and behold... they had just painted bike lanes onto the road. That area used to have 'em but it's a very industrial part of the city where the dump and rock quarries call home... so they'd been badly neglected and were pretty much invisible. They go from Lankershim all the way to Glenoaks, on both sides.

One thing I found funny tho... they're not your average bike lanes. You know, the ones that have no dashes or "entrance" points like Carpool lanes do but rather are just 2 solid lines about 3 feet apart from each other. These have these "entrance" points and in some parts are just dashes... either way, it makes my commute to the rec center in sun valley a lot smoother and easier.

Just thought I'd share.
