Very Cool. Today in Santa Monica (For kids)

The City of Santa Monica and Sustainable Works announce the first ever Kidical Mass Ride – a fun, and comfortable bike ride for families and youth. The Kidical Mass ride encourages Santa Monica families to increase bike riding as a safe and sustainable alternative to driving a car, promotes healthy active children and a healthy environment for our community. The free event will include fun activities for children, safety presentations, awards and prizes, and a pizza party upon finishing the ride. All participants are REQUIRED to wear a helmet at all times during the ride. The ride is between 9:30am – 12:30pm and will be approximately 1 hour (about 2.5 miles). It will begin and end at John Adams Middle School, 2425 16th Street Santa Monica, CA 90405. Parking is free and the event is accessible by BigBlueBus Lines 7 and 8. The event is free and open to all ages. RSVP by April 11th to Samantha Sommer (310) 458-8716 x 3 or email samantha.sommer@sustainableworks.org
