 After reading that calendar event a few times over; I think Louis was just letting us know that they cremated the body and only few invited or in the know people had a viewing service for EDDIE.

 I would want to take a few of the ashes and bring Eddieboy out to the Salton Sea.... I dont think he ever made it out there but it would be pretty nice none the less.
