OK, so who here needs a respectable job? How bout a bike mechanic job in LB? No need for a car as it's at the end of the Blue Line. Many possibilities like watching a junkraft float away to Hawaii!

Is this the posting, Allan? The one you linked to was later removed, it looks like, but this one was just a little below it, making me wonder if the newer one was removed for being a repost.

Need Full Time Bike Mechanic.

Strange, the link still works for me. It looks like two different shops and needing more than one mechanic in the area.

Trains work relatively late and early here too.

I worked at a bike shop for a bit over a year. In the summer, bike shops hire seasonal people to assemble bikes because that's when they push most of there sales.

(shops don't make much profit off shit like tubes, brake cables, and other accessories. Most of the profit is made from new bicycle sales, and bicycle maintenance /service and repair.)

If I didn't have seeds planted in my electrical engineering career, I would probably still be a bicycle mechanic still.

Always good to have a back up career.
