Bicycle Boulevards in Long Beach, apparently.

On the little hourly news clip right now on KPFK, they announced that Long Beach will be "installing" bicycle boulevards soon. I guess the NIMBYs at that meeting didn't get their way. Anybody know anything about this? Hmm?

 tis true. the agencies and powers that be have recognized bicycle boulevards as a possible tool in a box, if you will.

that is truly awesome. if long beach can pull this off....who knows....

perhaps 4th Street could???????

 each of those pdf's are like 40 or more pages.

lots and lots and lots of input and ideas were gathered. but will it ever be implemented is the real question. we need to pressure our city officials pretty solid to get this dream to come true.
