Whatever.
Taking a roll call to see who's here in town on Monday. I was hoping Speedy, Ideasculptor and a few others might be around and interested in getting together to 'noodle' around at a rehearsal studio in town for several hours. (think its a 3hr. minimum).
Not much on the calendar yet as far as rides go for Labor Day, so the big question is just who is left that aren't at Burning Man.
So, taking a roll call of who might be up to meet up Monday afternoon sometime if i can get a room.
The list i've pulled from the thread that Brian started is:
IdeaSculptor (Keys)
Stevo (Alto sax)
SpeedyBrian (Guitar)
Funanu (drums)
JC Hungerford (trumpet)
Richie (trumpet)
Borfo (Cowbell, etc)
Turrican - (Drums)
Ms. Stephanie (Violin FTW)
RB (Guitar)
Pretty Ricky (Drums)
Mook (Guitar & Bass)
Newb310 (Guitar, Recorder, etc.)
Hartwick (Guitar-when in LA)
Cost of the room is between $15-18 per hour and usually includes power, an amp or 2, mic, basic drum kit (no cymbals).
Ideasculptor also mentioned in the old thread that it might be possible to play at his place. Not sure if that is still a viable alternative.

Hells yes lets get this going again! I wont be available this monday, but any other time (as long as we have a few weeks notice) I am down. Its weird, but last night I talked to Dingo and he is definately interested in starting something (we just have to figure out what that something is.)
Stevo, thanks for bringing this back, and are there any other ridas who play an instrument? Can we still do some mariachi punk?

Cool Tiffany. Brian, i've been jonesin' to get this together after you first brought it up. It doesn't really sound like this Monday is good for anyone or maybe just everyone is out of town anyways. Its soo hard coordinating everyone's schedule that i thought i'd just take a stab and see if some peeps were around.
I'm all for playing anything where i could fit in somehow but I personally love music with a kickass horn section. Having Tomato, myself on sax and Richie and JCH on Trumpet could be pretty sweet for a tight support section. A trombone or two would fill it out nicely!
