At 37 is he to old ?
Keep in mind even though he is unpopular with many of the liberals on this forum, He does bring cycling into the spotlight.

i think lance was a part of the biggest marketing ploy in the world of cycling.
when americans think of the sport of cycling, all they know is lance, testicular cancer, trek, usps, discovery, and livestrong bracelets.
if i had a dollar for everytime i heard someone yelling *widcard* TOUR DE FRANCE *wildcard*, while riding in my spandex, i wouldn't be complaining about this recession.

actually, I don't think Lance is a Republican...he's kind of in the middle...he definitely favors better health care for all, so that would put him further left

and according to his website...80 cents of every dollar raised by his foundation goes toward programs and initiatives for cancer...
