i think my crank is bent
it happend at the peoples ride while i was riding up the hill in the back of ralph's. ever since it makes a squeaking noice.
how do i fix this?
its a one piece crank also?

is it just me or is there a surge of crank problems lately.

Yeah!
We got ridazz being involved in some hit&runs,
Stolen bicycles,bikes breaking down on people and people breaking down on bikes aka crashing!

how do i fix this?

2 ways:
1 - get a replacement 1 piece crank, either from one of the bike collectives or a place that sells used bikes and/or BMX bikes, which still use 1 piece cranks. - http://www.sheldonbrown.com/opc.html has some info on fixing them.
2 - If you have any interest in modernizing the bike, you can buy an adapter kit - http://www.amazon.com/Bulletproof-Bracket-Conversion-Converts-American/dp/B001G8TSPS , a new bottom bracket, and a 3 piece crank set.

thats for those sites
i took the crank out and it doesnt seem to be bent but it still makes a squeaking noise coming from the crank when i push down on it.
what can i do to make it stop?

i am going to upgrade when i have the money too
but for right now i just want to fix the squeaking noise
