Which systems

cover what rides?

With the recent deployment of additional trailer and rack-mounted sound systems, I'm just curious to know how many are any ride at at any given time.

Whatever the case may be, it seems every side, Valley, West-Side, and East-Side, all seem to be getting an even amount of sound-serving

 I was on one ride a while ago(2 years maybe?) that broadcasted their playlist/announcements on an FM station so other peeps who rode with them could dial in and broadcast what the ride coordinators were bumpin.
It was the gypsy ride if anyone was on it.

This might be a cool idea, especially for the huge rides, so announcements could be made, and so everyone is groovin on the same vibe.

Or not, it kind of stifles individuality/musical creativity of the person who owns the soundsystem.

Anyway. this is completely unrelated. i just thought i would throw in my two spokes.

 We tried that on the "Grateful Dead/Tye-Dyed" ride back in July of last year.

The idea was great, but from neighborhood gossip, I heard the transmitter utilized wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.

 Hmm... I don't know. I mostly stick w/ the SFVCM, last sat 818 ride, spoke n art, and RWNN. Cesar does the TT rides and some Cmob. 2nd Friday rides. Haven't done CMob for awhile. But i've seen and heard a bunch of systems out there. Awesome seeing them. I remember S&S had like 5 systems out one time. That was sweet.

 Yeah, I've noticed CRANK Mob seems to have turned into the testing grounds for the trailer-systems of the pack.

There's three of them there that I could count, including richie's heavy artillery.

The cool thing I've noticed is how easily whole car systems could be pressed into service on a home-made trailer.
I'm actually thinking of getting even wilder and splurging at one of these local car-system places with their weekly deals on a 500+6x9's+subwoofers.

I've got unique music, it's time to up the caliber once again!!!
