what is your name?
leroy gonzales. mr login name = asparagus
how did you first hear about midnight ridazz and what was your first group bike ride?
zack told me about it. 2006ish. my first group ride was either santa monica or seattle critical mass; takes no prisoners was my first ridazz ride. so good.
currently what rides do you attend regularly and what ride(s) would you like to see make a comeback?
mmmmmm. westside mosey, random last minute rides, los angelopes, crank mob, FOTF, hot springs. i hope the future makes a comeback. r0b0tz.
what advice would you pass on to new ridazz?
get a taller bike. be nice. be yourself. give me a cookie.
do you prefer small rides (30 or less people) or larger rides and why?
tell us about the best experience you've encountered on a group ride.
crank mob park/4am/joose/2007/dance party.
cops being dicks. stitches? wait.. that ended up being fun.
if you were leading a group ride, what would you do differently?
ride through more buildings.
what did you do for fun before you started "riding"
rode around on my bike having/looking for fun. hacking stuff. making friends with homeless people. oh oh.. bars. i used to go to bars. zzzzzzzzzz.
if you can name 2000 people who embody the spirit of "midnight ridazz" who would they be and why?
funderstorm. you know why.
what do you think the public's perception is of group bike rides?
like anything else, it probably depends on the preconceptions of each person. i dunno. it's fun to look at peoples reactions when the group rolls by; extra fun when freak bikes are involved. i think it makes them horny.
is there anything else you'd like to add?
