West Side Sober Ride

There aren't enough West Side rides at the moment, and I thought it would be fun to do a sober one for a change.

(Thursday's Cinco De Mayo, Saturday's the FMLY ride, so it's not like there's a shortage of partying available this week, but for this one, let's leave the weed and beer at home and just enjoy riding our bikes.)

We'll be meeting at Crankmob Park (9070 Venice Boulevard Culver City, CA 90232) on Friday at 7:30pm and rolling out at 8pm (Pacific Time, NOT Bike Time).

The route's a loop around West L.A. of about 25 miles. Mellow pace. Minor uphill to start, after that it's all downhill and flat.

The goal for this ride is to be as mellow, fun and law abiding as possible. No tagging, no stealing, no drugs or alcohol (or delicious delicious cookies, if, like me, that's what you tend to abuse). Please bring lights and a helmet and a pump and tubes and tools and patch kits and a cell phone and your common sense. (We don't plan to leave any Ridazz behind, but it makes life a lot easier for everyone if you're self-sufficient.)
