A lot of cyclists forget to work out the rest of their muscles. This ride aims to help develop your
wheelbarrow and shovel muscles in addition to your awesome legmeat.

THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED. WE WILL BE THERE, AND WE NEED YOUR HELP

This coming weekend--Saturday June 11, from noon to five or 6 PM, we're going to be using
wheelbarrows and shovels to move some dirt from a new pocket park--Arvella Grigsby Park--to it's new
home.

I'm leading a ride to the South Central Farms Community vigil directly after we've finished with the job--
We'll be departing
from Grigsby Park some time between 3 and 5 PM.

You don't have to show up for the whole time, an hour or two would help greatly.

Here's the itinerary:

Noon: dirt removal starts

3-5PM: after we have finished moving the dirt, we will go to Hawkins House of Burgers for ridiculously
greasy food (even the vegetarian options are made out of pork). If we finish on time and leave at three, and
you show up at 5, you will not be able to see us because we will not be there. This spongey schedule is to
encourage people to come for some of the dirt moving.

After that: Then we will ride through Florence Firestone and possibly a little bit of Pacific Avenue in
Huntington Park until we get to the former site of the SCF, where the South Central Farmers are holding a
vigil--Approx 5 miles.

Then a ride leaves from there to the after party at around 9 PM..

This event is confirmed. Come on out! I will be there. Doesn't anyone want to move dirt?
