AIDS LIfeCycle Training Kickoff mini pre-ride! MEET AT FRED 62!!!

START TIME: Pancakes at 6:30am, roll at 7:30am










The folks from AIDS LIfeCycle are hosting a "training kickoff" ride starting in Griffith Park. This will be a great way for Midnight Ridazz to show our support for a great cause, and kick off the training season with an awesome event. They will have beginner, intermediate, and advanced routes, depending on your riding experience, so ALL LEVELS OF RIDAZZ ARE ENCOURAGED TO SHOW UP (whether you're registered or not)! The rides will be led by their volunteer Training Ride Leaders.



After eating delicious blueberry pancakes, I'll be riding into Griffith Park from the FRED 62 on Vermont near Franklin (1850 N. Vermont Ave.) and I'm hoping others join me. How awesome would it be to roll up to this event with a contingency from MR?? Pretty awesome, I think. Anyway, we'll meet up at 6:30, which should give us plenty of time to grab some blueberry pancakes, coffee and a snack and make it in time for their orientation which starts at 8-8:30. That's A.M. folks...yeah...I know...so early!!! But this is as worthy a cause as I can think of. Some guys in the forums are already talking about forming an MR team for the Lifecycle ride. Let's show some support, Ridazz!!!

Bring your bike in good working order, a helmet, water bottles, and your enthusiasm. All are welcome, so whether you're registered already or still thinking about it, come on out! Meet and ride with hundreds of ALC cyclists and find out what we mean when we say this is an incredible community of incredible people!



Unlike other training rides throughout the year, we'll have some light snacks and water and Gatorade at the start point. Remember: eat before you are hungry and drink before you are thirsty. Keep your body fueled!
