Party of the Century III - Ojai / Santa Barbara

High! Annual Birthday Century, has become a lil tradition.

This year, will be a 3 day bike ride/bday party/holiday weekend event, and will total almost ~300 miles.

There are Metrolink travel options available, for those that cannot make the full 3 day tour via bicycle - as well as just added, our great friend and amazing cancer warrior Albert Soto will be joining us, and providing a support vehicle!

Get ready for some biking, some hiking, some swimming, some red red wine and some more biking!!!!


The rough itinerary plan:


Friday July 4th (~87 miles from NoHo to Ojai):
- holiday day off!
- hope you didn't poppycock tooo cray! #s4pc
- breakfast 6 am, Denny's Burbank and Lankershim
- meet 7 am, roll 8 ish am from NoHo Red Line Station
- bike ~ 87 miles from North Hollywood to Ojai
- several re-groups at turns and traffic lights
- 1st stop: mile 22 ish, just before Susanna Pass to Simi
- 2nd stop, Lunch: Ticos Tacos, 1675 E Los Angeles Ave
Simi Valley, CA 93065 - meetup with Old Time Values BC
- 3rd stop: near mile 68, San Buena Ventura State Beach
- - this stop will be for any and all supplies for the night!
- End: near Downtown Ojai
- camp overnight, in tents at Dennison Campground, or near the secret hot springs...

Saturday July 5th (~ 35 miles from Ojai to SB):
- breakfast! ~ 7 am
- hike to a waterfall! ~ 8-11 am
- lunch 11 am - 12 noon
- bike to Lake Casitas ~ 12-1 pm ~ 8 miles
- 1st stop: Lake Casitas and possibly check out the water park if not too crowded, time allows?!? 1-3 pm
- bike from lake to Santa Barbara 3-6 pm ~ 28 miles
- 2nd stop: break at Carpinteria Bluffs area park ~ mile 22
- End: Downtown Santa Barbara, or Hot Springs?!?
- camp near hot springs or hotel in SB area.... ?
- visit and enjoy a nice Santa Barbara Valley winery

Sunday July 6th (~ 111 miles from SB to DTLA):
- breakfast ~ 8-9 am
- bike back to DTLA Union Station from SB down the coast
- stop at venice or mustache bridge before finishing down ballona creek path to washington blvd to Union Station

U will most certainly want to bring:
- A working and freshly tuned bike
- Helmet, Pump, Tubes and Tools
- Your MoM, your Friends, Your Bike Crew!
- A tent, blanket, clothes for 3 days, shower/soap/toothbrush etc
- your drinking liver, not your sober liver!
- money, cuz FUN requires ca$h
- fireworks!!!
