So i take it I didn't win the contest?
"Get a bike, stupid" was probably too progressive for everyone.

Ask someone who was there how the Mayor pronounced Midnight Ridazz the first time--it was great. "Ri-dazz" rhymed with "jazz." To his credit though, after he was quickly corrected by the ridazz in attendance, he actually seemed to dig saying it and said it 3-4 more times properly.
When asked about whether he'll be up for going on rides after his elbow healed--he seemed very enthusiastic--I think his response with wide-eyes was "Oh, definitely!" So perhaps one day in the not-too-distant future, we may have a biking mayor.
And big props to Roadblock and Trickmilla (and the LACBC and LAPD) for making this happen.

I think the bottom part where it says "feet to pass bicyclist safely" needs to be bigger.

Roadblock gave the mayor a Midnight Ridazz patch
I joked that we should have put a line over the "i" so he would know how to pronounce it.

so much for the posters, at least in noho, who ever is in charge of placing them has put them at spots only visible from the sidewalk. If they're meant to be seen by drivers they should be facing the street.

I've noticed these signs several times now while driving in my car on both this side of the hill and and in the valley. They catch your eye and the point is easily understood. Very good job. Very cool very awesome. Ride on.

unfortunately a LOT of them will probably be displayed in less than ideal positions... the billboard companies are not going to be giving up prime ad space to PSA's and charity. We always knew that going into this... but figured that it was still worth the time.

In tennis, they used to call this period of time the "follow through"
I think Borfo's opening statement may have been fairly accurate.
