So I'm Moving to San Francisco, good possibility right now for work. However I will dearly miss the nightly rides I started with here in L.A.
Does anyone know of a forum similar to MR and LAFixed for San Francisco?

There isn't a "scene" in SF, because it's a way of life over there - everyone rides bikes. Portland has more of a scene if you're interested in something similar to LA's.

I actually meant Oakland, not Portland - it's a way of life there too.

I will probably go to my grave wondering why people keep saying that "everybody rides bikes in San Francisco." Sure looks like a tiny minority to me, albeit a bigger tiny minority than the tiny minority here.

last time i was in s.f. about a year ago, i rode my bike around and on market street, there were as many bikes during rush hour as there were cars....no joke....not a single bike had any spoke cards...i went to a bike shop there and asked a guy about group rides like midnight ridazz...he was familiar with m.r. as he had done a few rides...then he went on to say he knew of Hal and B-Rad and how they both tried to get group rides going but nobody would come out....most of the bikes i saw were old school 12 speeds or newer hybrids.
