11th Annual Freewaves Festival Announces

Dear Friends;

We here at LA FREEWAVES are excited to announce Streetwise Mobile Media
Held Saturday, October 11 on The 6500 Block of Hollywood Boulevard.
This is part of our 11th annual week long festival along Hollywood Blvd.

This day features Eco and Bike friendly activities along the street with info tables that will profile the following groups:

LA Biodiesel Coop, LA Bike Coalition- and their Bike Vallet, Bus Riders Union, LADOT Bicycle Program, The Tree People, Friends of the Los Angeles River, Park(ing) day L.A.!, Bikerwaves and the Fender Blender, The Sychons- a Solar Power DJ group.

We will be featuring street puppets, man-made parks by Park(ing) day L.A.! a Fender Blender juicer, Interactive Watershed Suitcase, a Biodiesel demo, solar powered music/performance and more. Plus FAQ's and answers, etc.

The following events and performances will also be held on this day:

Reversed surveillance at MacDonald’s, ballooned cameras at an altitude of 50
feet, drive by Horror projections counteract barcodes, RFID's and ID Targets.

Bicycle Bell Ensemble, Bike Cite and Bike Ballet

We're going to have a ride as part of this, and everyone should go, there's several people around here that have worked VERY hard to make this happen.
