It's pretty obvious this "LA Bike Culture" has turned into a soap Opera. It's sad to see things get so "High School" all of a sudden.
However, It's incredibly interesting to see how people act on the internet compared to the way they act in person.
I am amazed how people act one way on the ride but then on the internet they are completely different. Its's like a window into their true feelings without a filter for politeness. Its raw.
Watching these internet/reality relationships diverge and sometimes reconverge has made me think that maybe the most important thing when dealing with other Ridazz is to meet them in person before you judge them or participate in emotionally charged arguments with them.
This isn't just a community. Its a team. This type of drama makes the team weaker. Lets stick together.
We are many now, and if we respect each other and stay united, we can do so much more....

For those that don't know, Infest are a southern California Legend. They can be credited to almost inventing a genre (powerviolence), and just played the hardest, heaviest, fastest hardcore punk I'd yet to hear. This was in around 1987. A friend of mine from San Ramon California(Kurt Dittmer), had gotten a tape from one of the dudes in Unit Pride, with the Infest demo on it. We went apeshit listening to this thing in his room, in my car, etc. We couldn't believe how aggressive the music was. We had also been sold on it being "straightedge". I don't think the SxE thing holds up... the band members were not all straight. I'd later mailordered the bands records every time they came out. This LP came out on Off The Disk records out of Switzerland. This guy was putting out fast music when it wasn't cool, and when it was still ugly. One of my favorite punk/hardcore records ever.

I agree.
We all have so much more in common than we realize. Be gentle with your friends and they will have your back when it counts.
Petty arguments don't mean anything in the end.
Families can fight and have arguments but they should always try to find common ground and stand together on it.

Fuck me. I had 2 massive paragraphs typed out agreeing with stilline, and then I apparently hit refresh. In summary:
Yeah, it's like high school out here. And we can't change that as long as the other people here are acting like kids. But I wouldn't really have it any other way, because it's also probably the reason we have so much fun together, and why it's so hard to go back to the 'real world' with its 'normal people' after hanging out with Ridazz. As long as the silliness on the internet stays on the internet, no harm, no foul, yeah? Ride on!

all this conflict is really keeping us down, theres alot of potential and synergy available within this community, If we used a fraction of the energy we spend on this bullshit for something positive, we'd have a revolution in this town.

i haven't seen any negativity on the rides between any of these people on the forum. really when we ride the forum doesn't come between anybody (that i have seen). it doesn't seem to be as big of a deal as everyone is making it out to be.

If I'm to roll solo, might as well look intimidating and menacing to the motor-city that is Victorville!!!
