This is my last attempt :(
So heres the deal. I'm driving up to SF this weekend (leaving Friday at 5am) to hang out and ride with some friends for the weekend. IF anyone wants to come with, if you have friends up there or whatever, hit me up. All I'm really looking for is to have another body in the car for the sake of my mother and her sanity. The thought of her daughter driving alone isn't sitting well.

Hopefully you find another person that is friend. I think a stranger in your car would flip your Mother's wig even more so than driving alone..
I have to get back to shining my buck knife collection..

I have to go up to S.F. this Saturday afternoon 3/22/08 until Tuesday afternoon. Does anyone know of any rides this Saturday night or Sunday afternoon in the bay area?

They taking riding for granted there. It's just a way of life for them. Try to arrange you trips to SF on the last weekends of the month, so you can be there on Critical Mass - Last Fridays. They start early, like 6 or 7. But the ride is MASSIVE. I'm planning to go back there the end of September (or October???) for the CM anniversary. There are supposed to be parties at the end. Last year WE made the party, at the end, on the street. The whole weekend was a blast.

Sitting here in fairview, the white trash capital of california...rode a lot here but nobody else rides roadbikes. Really depressing area.while in the car with family, Saw 2 kids riding fixed. Everyone else on mtb's here. here for a funeral. This place really makes you appreciate the LA bike scene that much more. They'd pull shotguns out if They were corked at an intersection. I'm serious, this city sucks.

B-Rad's Thursday ride was fucking awesome, but it kind of fizzled and he's been really hard to get in touch with. If you want to ride, I'm down, and I know a bunch of people up here who would love to come too. Mike (pretty*ugli) is around too. We're thinking about doing an urban exploration mission tonight.

pretti ugli mike said no group rides are happening...i'm gonna probably hook up with skano on saturday. just gotta be back in concord, where i'm staying by 6pm for a family dinner.

To anyone who is in San Francisco:
Group ride tonight. Urban exploration mission through Pier 70 and whatnot. Meet at the south statue next to the streetcar station at the Ferry Building at 8pm.
