Roadblock reached out to me and asked me to call him, we had a talk, and I think we're all good. Man move, 6'8" stature, on his part. I don't know what all further has been written in THE thread, but I'm cool with all of it. And I'm sorry for my douchery.

Really? That's great, this would be a step up from having secret meetings about the people who piss you off. Anyway I wouldn't want to have to pay your phone bill next month.
yeah man, I said some pretty awful things out of haste and I deeply regret saying them.... so I hit Alex up to apologize and it's all good. water under the bridge...
should I delete the fake accounts? seems like it turns a lot of people off. I thought some of them were pretty funny (mostly Knittens) but there are fake accounts that are down right nasty.... or maybe people will just curb it on there own?
I'll second that. The ratio of annoying:amusing is far too high to justify keeping the fake accounts. Maybe it would be nice to also delete all the unused accounts? Maybe send a mass email, and the ones that don't respond get deleted?
Glad to see you guys patch it up. The energy that you both bring to our community is too important to be wasted fighting each other.
I'm generally in favor of deleting fake accounts, if it can be figured out what's fake. I know that a lot of folks are turned off to the forum because of the all the BS - even from a practical standpoint it's just too much to wade through.
I don't think most of us want things 100% serious, but maybe some functionality can be restored.
The problem is the owner of the troll acc is still around. It does nothing to curb the troller's behavior.
But yeah get rid of poodle's accounts and Dave's accounts would be a good step in the right direction. You also should put them on notice that that shit ain't gonna fly anymore too.
thing is I dont want to kill F.U.N...... I would like Knittens to stay.... and Crybaby? he's not much of a problem starter hahah ooodles can def take a hike. hahah user1 I take it you mean satan on a trycicle? and who else? I want more people to chime in and get some feedback from guys like Rollers Borfo and Marino to chime in on this too...

OK, how about this - instead of trying to identify past offenders, weed them out and hope that they don't do it again, maybe we can give people amnesty and try to make a fresh start. Is there even a way to stop people from creating a new fake account even if the old one is banned? The people who have multiple fake accounts know who they are, any chance of us just agreeing to cut the shit? And maybe if the fake accounts get (self)deleted or become inactive we can get a realistic idea of what our numbers are.
Call me a naive (hippie) optimist if you like, but I want to think that our better natures can prevail if we perceive a common good.
This reminds me of the 328 Ride when were going down Western Ave. The Medical transport guy was harassing everyone. When he was finally caught at an intersection....the mob had grown so angry and out of control that logic and reason was completely gone. The mob wanted blood!
Rollers has the best solution. Whether his logic and reason can be heard over the cries of "off with their heads!" We'll see. Vive la MR!
Yeah, I dunno, maybe I come from a different generation or maybe it's just me. I'm not above a joke, but when I say something here I ask myself, "would I say this to the person's face and does this somehow contribute something meaningful to the dialog?'
It would be a dull world (and forum) if everyone was like me, but if you care about what we have here, think about the effect you might be having before hitting that "Post Reply" button.
