Den Dinner - XMAS with the CUBZ

Wednesday 26 December 2007 Den Dinner will be at my (Natasha) House.
Whether you celebrate it for Jesus or for the addiction to consumerism, Christmas is a time to come together. CHRISTMAS WITH THE CUBZ will be a time to laugh, share stories and maybe sing some holiday carols.
Presents are not required, but highly recommended.

I will cook the beans, rice, I don't know eat or know how to cook meat, sorry carnies, but if you want it, arrange to bring it!
And I can get some tamales from Taco Plus, but if you know of a sweet place to get them, then by all means, speak up man!

I don't know you folks, cause I have yet to have a free thursday evening, but I'm fairly new in town and don't know many people. You all mind a stranger in your midst? I make a mean chocolate cake, but that's about the only thing I cook that's worth sharing and you seem to have a glut of dessert-y things happening already. Dinner should be motivation to come out with you on Thursday, too. I've done the wolfpack ride 3 times now, though I've never failed to be dropped by the end of the ride. I'm the guy who usually shows on the russian sidecar rig, if you've done that ride when I was there.

BTW, in case you have not come to a Den Dinner, arrivals begin at 8:00pm...dinner at 9:00pm? Richie, will you confirm this?
Christmas Eve with the Cubs was warming to my soul, my bro loves his share cut and I broke my promise of easing away from the drinking..yay!

i'm prob the only vegan coming dan, but don't worry about making it vegan. i'll be there late and prob won't eat anything anyways. i don't have time to make anything.

What time is dinner? Maybe i can convince pretty ricky to come too. I just made a gumbo today and have enough roux left over to make another for a small group. I would have to cook it at your house though natasha. I would need at 3-4 hours to cook this.

also i'll be bring enchiladas. i'll make 'em at yur place it only takes like 15min..

good. im glad some1 else cooked one since no one was able to pick me up for the last DD. I offered to make one as long as i could get a ride but i guess it all worked out.

At the upper part of the thread, I made a list of what we will need to build our burritos. I do not have drinks on the list, but if you have good organic dark chocolate hot cocoa, wow that would be amazing!
Also, if we have enchiladas and burritos, do people still want tamales?

I just threw a cake in the oven. I have only two (big) bottles of beer in the house, but I'll bring 'em. I've also got a bottle of the best vodka you've ever tried nice and cold in the freezer (purchased in Russia. You can't get it here), which I'm happy to bring along. I'll probably be running a bit late, as I've still got frosting to make, but I'll be there before the feasting begins for sure.

I'm still full!!! Another the l<3vely Den Dinner! BUT....I goofed up traditions =(... the Den Dinner wine was left at the Box, and I forgot to remind anyone to bring it to your house, Watermelon. (Does your place have a name yet!?) and also the YES cone was not awarded to the host of NEXT, NEXT Wed. Den Dinner. Hrmph. Maybe it was foreshadowing of lost brain cells from sharpie fumes that made me forget ;) BB your brownies win my heart every time!

Thank you all for coming to Den Din Din, I can't believe how grand of chefs you all are! Yum!! I have leftovers of cake, lemon squares, chips, chips again, salsa and guac. I'll bring it all to the bikerowave for a mini feast before cub camp leaves.
Fuzzbeat! That vegan caso won me over instantly!
We made the vegan pancakes this morning, too bad all of you didn't sleepover to enjoy them..maybe I should make sure to get you all super duper trashed, so that we also have to have den breakfast together. We'll talk about it.
