I'm going to have to pass the torch for doing the music this Saturday. I just started a full time job and haven't had the time to dig up enough new tunes. Besides, some new flaves are always a good thing.
Don't just pick through your MP3 player and pull from the same tired stuff that's been living on there forever. I always spent lots of time (as only an unemployed fellow could) finding the tastiest new jams for the ride. Crank Mob demands only the best!
...And just know, whoever steps up, I'll be judging you with every passing song. No pressure.
If I find some time, I'll try to put together a couple of hours of tunes on my ipod. I've got fucked up taste in music, but I'll try to accommodate the C.R.A.N.K. Mob vibe.

But for something as teeny bop as Crank Mob, I think the lighting effects from that James Gang video would be a great contribution that might go over well.
And I'm coming on Sat night, I just haven't had time to put together 5-6 of really solid party tunes. But no stupid job is gonna keep me from the Crank.

I played Charles Aznavour on the last C Mob. I didn't think anyone would get it, but they did. That made me happy.
btw, i have a playlist of 100+ songs i play sometimes. its designed to be put on random. If you want it lemme know. the songs are listed on myspace.com/yz3n on my playlist blog. I can add or remove anything quick-like just let me know.
Most of it is 80's, new wave, indie. Few old school raps and a couple of heavy metal tunes that aren't too atrocious just for RBI.
