Wear Helmets

Really.
Got in a stupid accident, hit a median. Roughly around 27 mph.
That could have been my head and I wouldn't be here typing this.
Helmets are definitely cool. They keep you alive so you can ride another day.
Ride on.

Yeah. I've cracked 3 helmets so far.
My head is still intact...so far.

I have this weird hope in the back of my head that I wished all of my friends would crash just hard enough to not get hurt, but scared.
I dont want anyone to get hurt, i just feel that once you experience that fear, it is a life lesson that really sticks.
Kind of a conflicting idea in my head, as i am SO passionate about bicycle safety.

No, I know exactly what you mean. This is probably the best thing that has happened to me so far.
In regards to life lessons and the outcome of the situation. No more drinking. ^__^
Which makes me really happy and I really feel I can do it.

Yeah after my little situation I always wear my helmet .... the first I thought about when i got up is .. I wish I had my helmet.... I'm extremely lucky to even be alive....
