 Just because it's not a real Keirin (the same could be said of all Keirin outside Japan, I mean hey the rules are a little different) doesn't mean it isn't fun. Take off your spandex for a minute and enjoy yourself.

 aside from the fact that running a keirin format on streets is not only difficult to organize but probably stupid with traffic and a motor, but i just came to point out that the 'mightnight keirin club' is just a name and there are races in similar formats they run are currently being held in DTLA.

and non-japanese keirins would fall under the international format so its still a keirin though its not JKA. america plays baseball. i'm sure other countires also play baseball. i'm also sure not everyone calls it 'baseball'. but its still fucking baseball.
