The logo and clubs repped on bikepolo.ca (the definitive polo site the world over) is actually LA bike polo, as is the website and twitter. Check out the logo on my wheelcover tomorrow, you'll see it sez LA Bike Polo.
DTLA polo only stands in the shadow of 818 within the LA area...outside of LA, we're all known as LA players. The truth is just that 818 does it better. heheh.

Really? It doesn't seem like they would be. That's pretty cool, I guess I should check them out. I kind of want to get something like that, the polo wounds on my hands kind of distract me when I'm trying to take notes in class. There's a pretty cool one in the shape of a 'z' I'm hoping leaves a scar. But I'd rather not run the risk of an injury that takes me out of the game, so some sort of heavier duty full finger glove seems to be in order.

Lil Sarah, they're called Lacrosse gloves, and they have 'em in all sizes at play it again sports on Ventura. Worth the investment for sure. And in re: to the logo, whilst it does look like moi, the player depicted is right handed. But thanx for the praise Krista, much appreciated. I wonder where they got that logo, or did they draw it? Either way, 818 welcomes any inner city rivalry that may arise. But 213/323 if you are reading this you better ask what happened to 310 Polo, mainly at the last tourney we threw, if you're gonna step to us...

Yeah, I know about the gloves, I'm a bit reluctant because they're so bulky. I don't think my game can afford any setback like adapting to a new way of holding the mallet just yet. Maybe after our tourney. I was kind of hoping to find something like Krista's weightlifting gloves, just full finger, for now.
Haha, you know, I never seem to notice the right/left handed thing. I'll be in the middle of a game with Tim or something and suddenly be like 'Shit! You're left handed! What?' But I noticed that the bike's missing a chain.
I think the logo was adapted from a picture- the right arm looks waaay off the left arm, so I think that part was drawn in.
I was gonna mention 310, but more in terms of avoiding any rivalry- remember all that drama bullshit with Hammer? We don't want to see that again....

the same location i found for 310 polo is still lit up and empty at night.
my wrists and palms of my hands are trashed from flying over the bars twice a few weeks ago....my right pinky has a problem with the joint too...check the video...it "snaps" open instead of moving freely...hurts pretty bad too..

Hmm, did a bit of research, Web MD says it looks like something called "swan neck syndrome". Definitely ligament damage, whatever it is. Found the exact symptom in a PT's >guide of symptoms to look for.
