What an amazing ride. The pace, the people, the route, the convention center (sshhh) USC bik party and who can forget the gun blazin' public safety ending the night with a fake pig pow wow!
Can't wait for the next one.

I don't use the word epic often...
...but that was one of the most epic rides I have ever been on. It made me re-realize why I love this group of people so much. This ride will go down in the history books for all that were involved.

KNITTENS HAS STRUCK AGAIN!!!!
LEAVING a trail of dead convention centers, carcasses of parking lots, and a burnt football track in its wake. Even the police couldn't stop R0B0110TZ from destroying the city. Again EPIC R0B0110TZ killed LA from Downtown on out.
Nobody can stop KNITTENS FROM KILLING IT!!!

awesomeness..
Thank you Alex and Ryan for an amazing route - the convention center was supreme, i have never ridden on floors that smooth, let alone the fucken convention center.
Sound system was dope. partying in front of that building was supreme, what building was that and why was it okay for us to be there?
I am sorry for Gabby - Shues you did get the longest pat down, maybe they realized it was your birthday - or they just liked your shoes. Shelli - thanks for the heads up text, however i was no where near my phone - pictures please post and video - i know there is video out there - 6am Denny's was a trip..
Pace lining home with Ryan, Jonny and Alex - sweet.
can we do all over again tonight?

your pictures are awesome! nice.
it took me back
to another world
just flipping through
where we sailed
our tires on ice
the convention center floor
and danced
till the world
spun upside down
with puppets
and footdown
when we sat there
on that cold cement floor
with unwanted light
bright in our tired eyes
we cuddled
and chatted
and loved and were
these ridazz
these robotz
ride on, my friends
ride on

A great thanks to everyone during the ride--great spirits the entire way through. I had a wonderful time and saw many familiar great faces who party 'just right' rather than 'eeek.'
Just a side-mention
There are many fantastic officers per county, state etc. and even, potentially, that very night, who are just trying to keep people safe/property alright.
There are a few, though, that are motivated in other ways towards other ends (collecting ticket revenue, making arrests, etc. to increase arrest metrics/get a promotion)--you never know who these are until it is too late.
Without commenting directly on specifics of that night, be careful when saying anything to an officer, even when it seems they have 'the best intentions' or ask you to make appeals to their logic on their behalf. Many attempts to 'buddy you' are made, intentionally, to get you to trip up or say something that can be used against you. Keep responses minimal and only directly in response to their question.

I just wonder what they do with our contact info afterwards. I just hope they're not going to sign me up for magazine subscriptions or AOL.

I know from the PC-832 certification I took, they were supposed to do palms-outward, but I kept that one to myself.
However, the large-framed, black-dude assured me that none of this was going to be reported and quietly mentioned me not to put this on any, future law-enforcement app's I may be filling out.
In fact, first thing that went through my mind was, "This shit better not effect my second try-out for CDCR-officer."

Kudos Bents, appreciate the mention--I too am looking to work humbly in the public sector and have to keep a squeaky clean sheet.
Again, I want to thank everyone for a great time and handling the scary well. I mention the following to points fault at anyone... just ideas for discussion.
Two little observations during the later portion...
1) An inconsistency...
The state officer initially stated that his dispatcher reported 'something... noise and people' in the garage and acknowledged that he assumed the worse--gang activity or a weapon or whatnot--that he didn't know what to expect when he came down below.
He later remarked that he and, presumably other officers, saw a group of bikes up top and shoo-ed them away and had hoped we'd leave but then eventually had to come down.
The two seem mutually exclusive, so which was it? Was it really either at all?
2) People Identifying themselves with ridazz when talking with police that are not smiling and waving
Many people were talking way way way too much in general--but during the 'interviews,' many people specifically identified themselves with 'part of the midnightridazz,' which may be a bad idea when we're prospectively busted--rather than saying 'riding with friends.'
**
But as disclaimer, I'm fairly n00b when it comes to law-ridazz relations. Probbly because Robotz are bound only by the three (plus) laws of robotics
1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
3.3303030300003... ALL ROBOTS MUST PARTY
....end of line
