 חנוכה – על מה החגיגה

אחד החגים שאנו הכי אוהבים הוא חנוכה. חג האורים. חג שבו שולט האור על החושך.

בהתבוננות קצרה בהיסטוריה אנו רואים כי נס החנוכה מתחלק לשני חלקים עיקריים:
1. הניצחון במלחמה של היהודים על היוונים 2. מציאת פך השמן הטהור בבית המקדש להדלקת המנורה, שבגלל זה אנו מדליקים את החנוכייה.

מעניין שאת הנס הראשון אנו לא חוגגים באיזה שהוא אקט חיצוני , לעומתו עבור הנס השני שנראה הרבה פחות חשוב אנו מדליקים את הנרות .
יום אחד נכנסתי לביתו של אחד מעשירי ארצנו לאיזה שהוא עניין, בזמן ההמתנה אני רואה בוויטרינה המפוארת שלו, ע"י חנוכיית הכסף מונחים שברי בקבוק זכוכית פשוט. לא כבשתי את סקרנותי ושאלתיו לפשר העניין . האיש נתרצה וסיפר לי סיפור .
כשהייתי ילד, גרתי בהולנד, מצבה הכלכלי של משפחתי לא היה טוב, עד שנאלצתי לעזוב את הישיבה בה למדתי בשביל לעזור בפרנסה. כשרוני המסחרי לא איכזב, וכמו שאתה רואה הייתה לי הצלחה מסחררת במסחר, בד בבד עם ההצלחה גם התרחקתי מהיהדות שלא נשאר עבורה מקום אצלי . יום אחד הלכתי ברחוב ופגשתי ילד ממרר בבכי וחוזר שוב ושוב על המילים "מה אגיד לאבא" מתברר שאביו חסר האמצעים שלח אותו לקנות בקבוק שמן להדלקת נרות חנוכה בדמיו האחרונים , והזהיר אותו לשמור על הבקבוק מכל משמר, ולמרות ההשתדלות, הבקבוק נשבר. נכמרו רחמיי, אספנו ביחד את השברים והלכתי לקנות עבורו בקבוק חדש. תוך כדי הליכה אני מתחיל לחשוב לעצמי, "מה אני אגיד לאבא"? אבא שלי בשמים מחכה לי, ואני שכחתי מקיומו לגמרי. באותה שנה , חזרתי להדליק את נרות החנוכה, ולהתקרב יותר לאבי שבשמיים.
במהלך הדורת היו המון פעמים שקיומו של עם ישראל היה בסכנה, ובכל זאת חכמים לא קבעו בשביל זה חג , גם היום עם כל האיומים מסביבנו, זהו כמעט נס שאנו ממשיכים לשרוד.
מקובל לחשוב כי המכבים נצחו כי היו חזקים , אך ברור שלא כן, שהרי בתפילה אנחנו מזכירים ומודים לה' על הנס המיוחד ש - "שנתת גיבורים (היוונים ) ביד חלשים (המכבים)".
בחנוכה, האיום היה על הנשמה ולא על הגוף. שימו לב, שהיוונים לא שפכו את כל השמן שהיה במקדש אלא טמאו אותו, כלומר – לא היה חסר שמן, אלא שמן טהור. השמן – אותיות נשמה. כשמאיימים על הנשמה שלנו ואנו מצליחים לשמור עליה, אז קובעים חג. ולכן דווקא את החלק הזה אנו מציינים ע"י הדלקת הנרות.
"על הניסים ועל הנפלאות ועל המלחמות שעשית לאבותינו בימים ההם בזמן הזה. קצת מוזר שמודים על מלחמה, ולא על הניצחון, אך כשהאיום הוא רוחני, אז כל מהלך המלחמה, המלחמה הפנימית ביצרים, בתאוות, היא חלק מהניצחון, וע"כ אנחנו מודים, וחוגגים שהצלחנו לשמור על הגחלת היהודית עד היום.
ה' יעזור שהנרות שאנו מדליקים ידליקו לכל אחד ואחת את האור המיוחד שבו
