i know the black n white is your husky. is the other tan husky yours too. they are both adorable. i've always admired those guys. they seem the closest to the wolf dna strand.
They actually mellowed out as soon as they were on camera. While I was still getting it out, they were bouncing off the furniture and walls. And this after a 5 mile run this morning and a 3 mile hike this evening.
The blonde husky is mine as of this morning. He is actually 1/8 or 1/4 wolf, according to the best guess of folks with more expertise than I. He's very gentle with strange dogs, even little ones, which is surprising from a wolf/husky hybrid. Both breeds are known to have a pretty strong prey drive when it comes to smaller animals. Both of 'em were playing with mini-dobermans (dobermen?) and chihuahuas this afternoon.
awwww they look so happy together! i'm glad you adopted. hopefully all works out. when i was down in argentina visiting family, there were strays everywhere and at least half of them were huskies. i wanted to take them home with me.
She actually really likes having him around. They just like to wrestle. Until it is feeding time. Then she's a possessive bitch demon who tried to kill him, even though he's only trying to eat his food out of his own bowl. I haven't figured out the psychology of that one, so I'm not sure how to prevent it just yet. He won't eat until she gives permission, but she won't give permission, so he winds up waiting until she tries to kick his ass, and then he'll eat. It's odd.
