Bikerowave is MOVING

YO!
The Bikerowave is moving to a new awesome spot right across the street from LAB at 12255 venice blvd!
We'll be open at the current location in Santa Monica until the first weekend of August when we're moving everything to the new spot. Our first day open there will be monday August 3rd.

....was getting a coffee a Venice Grind and totally surprised to see the new location. Way cool, and way closer to where I live. Guess I'll have to start thinking about a new project to work on.
By the way...I'm curious... is there absolutely no worry from LAB that the new Bikerowave might take some repair business away? Guess Bikerowave can do brake work.

None.
I think the goal is to make this part of Venice Blvd. a sort of Bike District West, so we generate more business for everyone.

I just got back from a full day of helping set up the new location, it's absolutely amazing. More floor space. More/better workbenches. A bathroom! 17 feet of window space. A lounge area. Food EVERYWHERE. No more 50-mile missions to the ATM machine; there are a few within 100 yards. Higher ceilings. A bar next door. WAY more storage space. I could go on forever!
We even have a disco ball.

Don't forget the Batman watching over the register like a guardian angel.
Definitely stopping by again after work tomorrow, both to christen the new locale and to get the noise in my bike checked out.

The parking meters out front. U-locks (plus a cable for your wheels) recommended, as there's no safe place (other than maybe your house) to leave a bike unlocked / cable locked.

Yeah holy shit I had a good time last night!
I can sense something good in the air on the West side, and it ain't just the fresh ocean breeze. I don't want to jump the gun or jynx it, but it feels like an additional bicycle district is about to be upon us in the West, and I really fuckin like it.
Something is telling me many good things will come of this.
