I spent years building a good reputation with a ride by doing things different. Spent so much time thinking of ways to get people excited about riding with fun spoke cards and using so much of my personal time to do so and what happens..... Someone takes the full ride posting from Monday Night Rehab and a spoke card a made and makes a ride post.
Thats weak. Im sorry but that is unfair to me and all the other people who helped with that ride. It's pretty disrespectful and Im shocked that someone from this community of thinkers would do that.

By the way I had no idea who posted any ride personally I really don't care... I was only commenting on John saying he was bringing the ride back...
If Johns cool with someone leading a Monday night rehab... same place same time Same logo... that's 1 thing.... to whoever wants to keep the momentum going in the valley on Mondays...just do the right thing and start a new ride with a new logo and new name.. using the Monday Night rehab logo is obviously confusing to anybody not in John's inner circle..
It's John's ride.. let him decide what's gonna happen with it...

I posted want I thought on the topic and you spend all this time with CAPS lock on trying...(keyword trying) when your not even right. You do know me and Gio are good friends right and he was just as pissed as I was seeing that. In fact he was sitting right next to him when I was talking to her about it and basically said the same thing. Him and Jrow wanted to do something else and I was cool with that .. fine... I told everyone I could about it and they were doing what they had to do.
I'm upset because it's confusing to people. I did that what ...2 years ago and that was a random. I didn't draw it and I never said I did. Well without getting in to the specifics of this case, as I am not aware of the full details, I kinda got to side with Osnap here. MNR is what it is today cuz of him, even if he inherited it from Junu. It's like when Speedy Brian stopped doing Barchopz but others jacked his likeness and ride posts and art etc. That broke my heart cuz it was str8 plagiarism.
There's nuthin wrong with leading a ride from the same spot and time as an old one when a leader is done with it, especially if he has formally handed it off to new leadership. But the new ppl are surely robbing themselves of an opportunity to build their own new reputation and identity when they start fresh. That is something they should consider, especially when it is proven that a ride at said time and location can succeed with good leadership.
TL;DR? Use the opportunity of a new ride to create your own legacy!

Look I don't think anyone has a problem with you speaking out against acting like hoodlums and giving our community a positive perception of bikers.
how you go about it, like an elitist, talking DOWN to your fellow riders is what is my problem.
we all have opinions on drinking and smoking on rides, running red lights, tagging, etc etc, there's no need to tell HUNDREDS of people they are assholes not welcome on your ride.
just post a ride with your rules, don't be a dick about it.

it is definitely polite to ask first and see what a ride's [previous or current] leader might say before posting something like that. Even if you borrow part of the name to start a new ride, you should always just ask- it's as simple as that and it is easy. Seems like it is common operating procedure between nearly all ridazz... part of the code.
I asked steph about doing the west side mosey before posting it, and hamilton asked me before doing the beast side mosey. Much easier to work in tandem this way, we are all in it together and why not right? Unless you've got beef I can understand not caring, but still a dick move to post the same ride w/o thinking to ask.
