yeah i was going to say that id listen to his stuff on my ipod and whatever, but i wouldnt go to a show to listen to him.. i think his music is meant to be listened to closely, and not at some show all hyped up in open air

if he was truly anti-capitalist he would find methods other than overpriced concert tickets, t-shirts, and CDs to support himself. set up a social barter system, sell cheap CDs and tickets al a fugazi, any number of things.

You can be anti-capitalist and still be involved in and even pro commerce. Fugazi is fully engaged in commerce and I was say anti-capitalist to some degree. Immortal technique is dope. His ticket prices are high from what I recall a show was $30. Fugazi is still packing houses at $15? I don't know.
Imortal Technique voices a lot of taboo opinions that would not get airtime in the establishment media.

Sometimes I just filter out everything about the artist and just listen to the song itself. Everyone will forever be a hypocrite in someone else's eyes.

I kinda stopped listening to rap at Public Enemy, NWA, and Ghetto Boys. They started getting away from "keeping it real" and was more about the bitches and money after that point.
