Hope you ghosts and ghouls can come to the Bike Oven movie night...showing the cult classic, The Forbidden Zone. Lots of other fun stuff, plus it is a fundraiser for the Bike Oven!

I highly recomend this film. It was directed by Richard Elfaman (Danny Elfmans brother), who also brought us that cult movie 'Shrunken Heads'. You will love this black and white surreal style film with actors such as Herve Villashivre (however you spell that last name, aka Tattoo from Fantasy Island), Susan Tyrell (my favorite actress in the world... 'Bad', 'Angel', Cry Baby), Viva (from Warhol's factory fame) and Joe Spinell (Maniac, Godfather 2).

All the info is on the ride calendar. The night is Sunday, October 21st. Doors open at 7pm. We're showing some vintage Halloween movie trailers and The Forbidden Zone. Donation is $3.00 (this is a fundraiser for the Bike Oven). We'll also be selling beer, soda, a special SIXTH DIMENSION cocktail designed by Pruitt just for the event...and hot dogs and free halloween goodies.
Movie night is going to be a monthly happening at The Bike Oven, so now that the rooftop movies are over, it's time to move the party indoors!

Pico and Sepulveda....
Pico and Sepulveda ....
Pico and Sepulveda .....
wiki.
Pico and Sepulveda is a song by Felix Figueroa & His Orchestra. The 1947 song was frequently featured on Dr. Demento's syndicated radio show. [1] It is about streets in Los Angeles and was composed by Eddie Maxwell and Jule Styne. (Ambassador Records, 1947 (b/w "She of the Coffee Brown Eyes"))
The intersection of West Pico Blvd and South Sepulveda Blvd is in the Rancho Park neighborhood. An interesting quirk of history is that PĂo Pico and Jose Dolores Sepulveda knew each other during their lifetimes.
The song was featured in Richard Elfman's 1980 underground cult film, Forbidden Zone.
"Pico and Sepulveda" was covered in 2002 by Lee Press-on and the Nails on their album "El Bando En Fuego!".

Describe it and it's yours.
