Hey ridazz,
Im wondering if anyone would be down for doing a haunted ride, where we would ride to gravity hill out here in the valley. This is a hill where if your car is in neutral, it will be pulled up the hill (i dont know if it will work on bicycles.)
Next to the hill is a cemetary, where this area is confirmed to be haunted. Its around 8-10 miles from north hollywood, slight hills, but doable.

Im pretty scared to go at night, but if there are around 75 of us, maybe we can party at the graveyard?
Has anyone been here?
Any other place we could check out?

haha, I read some of that thread i guess there are like "KKK" in White Broncos that chase people out of the area!!! Which probably translates to white people who don't like people fucking around in their neighborhood... understandably. We'll be careful of ghosts and them white peoples then. Let's get scurrrr!

Shiet... Good ol gravity hill... up paxton. Man... one time a couple of us went up there and chilled to try out it. We couldn't find the marker cause it was around midnight. We decided to bail so we kept going up and passed that cemetery up there and pulled over to decide if we should keep going or turn around and come back down the way we came up.
We notice headlights that pass us and next thing you know... it busts a bitch. We freak out and decide to start going. Going the speed limit. The damn truck is now on our tail!! Tailgating us with it's headlights just blinding us. We start picking up speed and it does too. For 5 minutes this thing was on our ass. Next thing you know we're in Lakeview Terrace and make it to the 210fwy. Scariest shiet. For sure it wasn't like a ranger or LAPD.
I'll never know who messed w/ us but shiet was it freaky. Either way... this sounds interesting to do it on a bike and I'm down to do it again!!

your story sounds like many other stories, and also friends i know that have had the same experience. shit, gives me chills!
should we still go thru with this? (i was thinking of it sometime in october, maybe near halloween)
should we do this on bikes? or should we have a faster means of escaping??????

Nah, we should continue with bikes.
We're just going to need some sort of "guardian" 4x4 to match the Bronco and lure it away from us without incident.
A '74 k5 outta to do the trick.
I'm always hitting up the "shadowlands.net" sites and this type of shit sounds cool.
And just for the occasion, I 'll keep my head concealed under a jacket and carry a flaming pumpkinhead on a sword.

Yes, im planning this ride for november. We can meet up at north hollywood park, and from there carpool to a closer park which is at the bottom of the hill (this is where a ghost of a little girl is on a swing)
This might work good on a sunday night, and maybe we can leave right when it is getting dark. However, once it gets dark, we need extreme lighting, because that is the darkest road ever.
If we plan this out very carefully, and be prepared for anything, we can have a blast!!!

this is going to be really fun. Im down. Wheres the hill that shows little hand prints pushing your car up, is that the same one? If so I'm powdering up the back of my tshirt.
this is what I do when I dont have work.

Bri,
meet up then carpool...?
just post the start point of the ride and let people figure out how to get there.
If I recollect correctly, gravity hill is a ways up the side of the "hill" and might be a good ride just getting to it. Of course all these hard core, "LA has hills" types might not have an issue.

I wonder if there are any old mansions scattered along this particular route.
I read one time that they used to have quite a few places where people from the "flapper" era would go to for parties.
Some might be long torn down, or vacant lots now, but there were those saying that you could actually hear the parties still taking place.
