For the record, I fractured my clavicle and scraped the shit outta my right arm. I hit shoulder first, head second; no concussion. Thanks to all that helped me up and Ryan and Jeromy for taking me to the hospital. I'll be back in about a month... with breaks.

don't feel so bad jesus. although ur biffing episode could have been avoided with a little common sense, TNS has a tendency to fuck people up and/or get people in trouble.

Saw like six kids waiting outside of BK yesterday... they couldnt have been over 15 years old... one looked like he was 12.
ALL, as far as noticed -- NO BRAKES, NO Helmets.
Kids will be kids.. I recall being a kid on BMX, you couldnt tell me to wear a helmet or not fuck around on my bike, but again, I didnt have a brakeless 700c or 650c set of wheels that could generate more speed than my Haro (plus i had a brake). And trying to gain control of a fixed unit is potentially harder than a SS.
Though it sounds silly, I really try not to think about some of these kids out there... It would be heart-breaking to lose a few over a stupid bike.
Last night i even say a kid riding on the wrong side of Sunset at night (against traffic), no brakes, no lights, and just cutting through like everyone could see him.
Its pretty scary when you think about it. I hope the trend fades very soon, or some other kind of technology allows people to ride brakeless in a safer manner (a cooler looking gyro?)
Then again... some kids tend to have better skills than many adults... but its harder to accept a kid getting hurt than an adult.
as far as I've seen, experience is the best teacher...I think a few bumps on the head serve a growing boy good...I've received a few myself...lol. For the record, getting hit by a car is more than a bump on the head, and sucks balls.
I don't think horrible things should happen to people, but I do think experiencing messed up stuff shares a relationship with becoming more mature and responsible.
True, yet I still wonder if all the acid really made me more mature.... Maybe I should have listened and just said, "NO".
I guess the situation is a little more dangerous than just playing at a skate park. I mean, kids are getting the impression they can ride pretty insanely on city streets. The impact of a moving vehicle is pretty fucking scary... Ive been hit by cars, and luckily Im been cool afterward... but I think it made me into a annoying forum member...
