Who'd be down for a Leboski themed ride in the near future?
reply
Yay! That will be a complete blast. I am a big fan and will help out. I attended the last Lebowski Fest that was in LA. I saw they did a Lebowski ride in Seattle a few months back. . . .
We can start it from where the bowling alley used to be on Santa Monica Blvd (a school is on it now). Visit the site of Sobcheck Security (strip mall on Santa Monica and Highland), etc. etc.

He's a sex offender, with a record. He did six months in chino for exposing himself to an 8 year old. I'm feelin' white russians and joints all night. Let's start hearing ideas for dates/ places. Hope fully not when I'm costa rica for spring break, haha.

an occassional movie theme once in a while seems cool especially if it's a old cult classic..... call me a stooge but personally I'm not in favor of seeing this ride become a series of movie parodies. that's too easy. what next a ride to city walk or be one of the characters on Hollywood Blvd? imagination is ours.

hmmm, we should probably wait till around December to do the "Xmas Carol" ride, come as Scrooge, The Ghost of Xmas Past/Present/Future or Jacob (not Bob) Marley (wear lots of chains)!
But seriously, as usual I have to agree with Roadblock here: even with the rides coming fast & furious (is that a film?) these days we can think of lots of stuff to do besides old movies, I hope.

I have to side with RB and Rollers. As a rule, most cyclists in the greater LA area have enough imagination to think outside the box (or cage as it is). I'm sure the imagination of the Ridazz as a whole is unlimited.

Just to clarify, nothing personal against the idea of a Lebowski Ride; I dig the movie and it could probably make a good theme for a ride at some point, I just think we should be as imaginative as possible, even if we do live near Hollywood.
