Street Closures in DTLA

We have recently received information that the Walt Disney Concert Hall will be hosting a special event this week. Due to this event, Grand Avenue will continue to be closed between 1st Street and 2nd Street starting today, September 29th until Friday, October 3rd at 7:00pm. Traffic on neighboring streets is expected to be impacted. For more information, you may contact the Los Angeles Philharmonic at (213) 972-7300.

HAving ridden through there this morning at about 4 am, the street is closed, the sidewalk is not... take that as you will...

yeah, and it's not illegal to ride on the sidewalk in Los Angeles...

but besides, even if you must go through, it's like 100 yards, you could walk it, fuck going down and back up that hill. especially with the top section of 2nd closed, you're looking at going all the way around to 3rd on olive (going wrong way on olive) and under grand and back up, or a different, longer, route.
