 philipes french dip sandwiches certainly isn't the deal maker on this shindig. IMHO alot better of a place to go to is that one old place next to the bank district downtown. They just reopened and been in business for something like a 1000 years? I think they laid claim to discovering the French dip sandwich too. The name of the place escapes me right now.

 I don't know. I haven't been to Cole's since they remodeled, but if go by Yelp, Philippe's is the the clear winner.

 The Smell gets pricey for certain shows. It happens a few times a year when a "bigger" named act comes through town and plays what is sure to be a sell out show.

I'm pretty sure the extra $2 goes straight to the touring bands.

Don't worry the Smell will be back down to $5 for 99% of teh rest of shows for 2009.
