From the creators of the
first Midnight Ridazz double century comes a slightly less intimidating ride ...

What's the route?

You will be riding about 127 miles over an elevation gain of 7400 feet. The course will take you through scenic
Malibu with gentle climbs into Agoura Hills, and then a few more steady grades into Moorpark and down the
glorious Grimes Canyon into Fillmore. From there, you will pass Six Flags, climb out alongside the I-5, go
across the sleepy San Fernando Valley and Griffith Park, then dodge hipsters in Silverlake and Echo Park
while enjoying views of Downtown. Finally, you will traverse across the city back to Santa Monica. The first
half will be hilly and rural. The second half will be a lot flatter and more urban.

Is there support?

Nope. I am running this ride as a brevet, that group known for self supported rides. They normally charge for
rides but I will cover you if you mention that you heard about the ride on Midnight Ridazz. Bring enough
supplies to last you about 40 miles between stops, as it will be a long and warm stretch between Moorpark
and Valencia. I recommend two bottles of water.

Am I in shape to ride a double metric?

Can you ride 60 miles? Then you can probably do this. Listen to your stomach, hydrate, and bring tubes.
Also, this ride is fixie approved. All we ask is that you stay above 10 mph on average.

How do I get on the ride?

Meet at 6:30am, ride out at 7am. This is a Sunday morning. Meet @ the Chevron, 1348 Pico Blvd, Santa
Monica, CA. The ride will be a loop and finish a few blocks away from the start. And please let me know you are coming
so I can have enough route slips!
