I will be throwing a BBQ potluck party at my place this sunday starting at 3pm in echo park. If anyone will be riding through my hood, you should drop by and grab some food and beer... or franzia? haha ;]

I really wanted to go on the ride tonight, but my friend is visiting from SF tonight so I'm going to see her ;[ lame how everything happens on the same day!
anyway, friday is good, i will go to the bike oven and pick it up! can i thank you with a case of beer? ;]

it's more like an informal invitation to ridazz who live close by so that we can get to know each other, being neighbors and all. Because I'm new, I want to meet and talk about peoples' experiences and stories. Are you interested in coming? i can email or text you the details! ;D

howdy- i live on the eastside but roll to echo park to go on rides with my buddy that lives there-he has some cool peeps on his street that all ride- and we usally have a few cold ones and head out for a fun ride sundays- would love to meet you get you in on some of our rides

well it looks like i'll be picking up a bike on friday, so then i can start riding after that woo woo. doing a ride before the bbq might be hard because i have to get everything ready and, like a good host, be there for any early arrivals. however, i could do a short, early morning ride. any suggestions where to go? maybe i could ride to the nearest person, then we go to the next person, and when everyone is assembled, we return to my place? call it SUNDAY WAKE UP CALL
oh oh also, saturday is international pillow fight day and there's a pillow fight in pershing square... are people doing a ride there? maybe that's a good place to introduce myself. Hello, nice to meet you! WHAM!!
you don't have to bring something to the bbq, but i encourage it if possible (especially if you eat like a pig). It will probably go on late, so if you miss the food, you can still come by to mingle. If you want to come and you didn't already give me your email address, then just email me at alloutofgas at gmail and i will respond with the details. just let me know who you are.

yeah, i like your idea of doing a ride first and then inviting people, hahaha ;] thanks for the heads up.

hey snowcone, how about a bit longer of a ride? you'll be there in 10 minutes especially since it's all downhill to pershing square. oh and glendale to 2nd to hill is a nice route to pershing square from the park.

as for extending the length of the ride, what do you propose?
I sort of want to meet at echo park still, maybe we can ride away from downtown and back? maybe if we have some interesting stop or something. What do you think?
