Yes, the two starting points are The Brite Spot (6:45) and Scoops (7:45), thanks for explaining, Sean. Hey, democracy is messy. Or perhaps my language was a little unclear?

Thanks for all the B-day wishes; c'mon out & ride! Just remember, when the IAAL says 7:45 we don't mean 8:30.

Thanks again for the kind wishes, everybody!

We'll have limited edtion spoke cards availble tonight, hopefully in sufficient quantities.

Also, pay no attention to the route on the ride calendar; it's just the default route. The final details are being worked out, but we'll be heading downtown at some point, maybe taking in some scenic vistas. In any case, the IAAL-MAF will NOT leave you stranded in some strange and smelly part of town.

Had a great time Rollers but my head/stomach are paying me back this morning, too. I'm such a lightweight: three beers and a shot of tequila. Back in the day that used to be breakfast.

My favorite quote of the night goes to Marino: "You and your methods. You must be German!" I have no idea what it means but I loved it a little bit more than when he said "Yeah, I saw that movie" as you were describing the recent pool "party" mayhem at your place.

I would have made the ride but I am stuck in the corn fields of Kansas, sans bike.
I still think an October People Ride would be fun, to celebrate all the October birthdays. Maybe next year.
