sorry Tang's is at Sunset and Fountain in the East Hollywood Silverlake area. right near the redline sunset and vermont station.

Tang's is also where the guys use to play speed chess (do they still?) and right down the street was that infamous low rent crack hooker motel (now being remodeled) formerly know as Poon-Tangs... ah, I love our local color....

That route is unrelated. It's the default route that shows up when you click on "Add a Ride".

Holy Shit! That was a packed house last night.
I got busted by my neighbor (who had to wake up at 5 a.m. the next morning) for all the noise we made. She called my landlord.
The Bike Oven is going to do this again, but we'll get started earlier and end everything before 10 p.m. fo sho'. Otherwise - no more bike oven (for real, I will get kicked out).
Thanks to Veronica and Chicken Leather for (1) Badass samurai film, (2) homemade pizza (s), (3) free beer(s), (4) flyers and internet posting, and for generally being awesome enough to pull this off. Thanks to SFV Dan and Jessie for cleaning dishes and helping with the cooking.

Sad I had to miss this. I must have seen the "Shogun Assasin" rehash of the baby cart movies a million times with my dad when I was a kid. That scene in "Kill Bill" where they watch the movie made me go "awww."
And no, my dad is not an assasin!

I just posted the event, they don't know what they are showing. They didn't even know they could have the event until they found out last night. Lets watch that film you suggested. What ever they are showing, I'm sure it will be good. Those two love to watch movies. Maybe I'll let them know your suggestion. let me call them I'll get back to you.

I've heard that Ladri di Bicicelette (the Bicycle Theif) is super-classic.

I just found out that "the bicycle theif" is Itilano, and it is very very long.
So maybe in the future. There is talk of possibly the French version of "Caddy shack" there is a bicycle scene in it. but I doubt it.
