Santa Fe Springs/ Downey/ Norwalk Green Line
im tryin to a group or somthing to ride wif to LACM!

I'm located in Downey, what's LACM, you mean LACMA? That would be a far ride!

LA Critical Mass, which is probably in, or around the same area as the Art Musuem LACMA.
Gather a strong posse and roll out in force, the next time it goes down at the last Friday of the month.

There isn't that many 562 ridazz....most of the people over there don't know wat a fixed gear bicycle is....nor a road bike

5(fix)2, they were a mean crew that gathered in Whittier and spanned Claremont and down to Long Beach.
What happened to those guys?

I see plenty of fixies in the Downey area. Riding doesn't mean you only have to have a certain bike. It's about having fun and chilling with people that have the same interest as you. Getting some late night grub or drinks and relax. I myself have a vintage 1960 American Free Spirit townie and an all white single speed with Nishiki frame. I've gotten together with people to do rides from Downey to LBC and back and it doesn't matter what you ride, all that matters is how fun it is.
We should get a group together to just ride and chill for the hell of it. Not many riders in our area that are willing to ride, cuz they're all kids and need to be in bed I guess or they ride on the sidewalk for some reason.
Get a big ride going for fun, there's plenty of places to go in our area too. We have to show other areas that we know how to ride too!
Let's get a ride on!

Starting a group in the southeast(norwalk, bellflower, paramount, whittier, cerritos, la mirada) sounds like fun. They have big nicely paved open roads.

The (5fix2), dubbled, now, The VFIXII, remains strong..
Since 2007.
We just kinda keep it underground, I suppose.
Honestly, I'm just toooooo fucking lazy to check Mrazz, let alone post on Mrazz.
We mostly post on LaFixed, but, even that is kinda fallen to the wayside.
All Summer, like the Summer before that we've ridden together many, many times a week.
And, in the Winters we drank more than rode.
Join the FB Group to keep abreast on the goings-ons.
And, for the record, we've been meeting in Norwalk for the last two years.
Uptown Whitter got kinda meh.
But, I'm thinking of doing an anniversary ride from Uptown.
Maybe, even, moving the ride back up there.
Probably not.

that sounds cool. you guys seem to not just stick in the 562. i got a single speed road bike, i may check it out some time. i'm more for an all inclusive rider and i think all not just fixies are welcome (cruisers, townies, fixies, roads, bmx, etc.)
i wouldn't mind getting a ride together for the green line to lacm or even like a tour to lbc. i think everyone should be welcome.

i'm fixing up my single speed all nice to sell so i can get a real fixie, so hopefully i can get out there within the next few weeks.
i'll let you guys know when i am though so i don't just show up like a tard.

Get me out of Whittier! I have no one to ride with. All my friends have bikes but don't use them they just like to show them off and ride from house to house. I so need someone to smash with, you know? Someone to get speed and smash far.
